Common Questions About Your Upcoming Session

What Should I Wear?

For the best results, the areas being treated should be exposed to the light whenever possible. The BioMax 900 works best on bare skin, as clothing may block some of the light from reaching the tissues underneath.

You may choose whatever level of clothing feels most comfortable, including:

✅ Workout clothing

✅ Tank tops and shorts

✅ Swimsuits

✅ Sports bras and shorts

✅ Undergarments

✅ Or no clothing at all within the privacy of the treatment room

There is absolutely no requirement to remove clothing. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported during your session.

Can I Wear Makeup, Lotion, Sunscreen, or Skincare Products During Treatment?

For best results, clean skin is recommended whenever possible.

Makeup, sunscreen, heavy lotions, oils, and some skincare products may reduce the amount of red and near-infrared light reaching the skin.

For facial treatments, we recommend arriving with clean skin and removing makeup before your session whenever possible.

For body treatments, exposing clean skin in the treatment area may help maximize light absorption.

✅ Clean skin is ideal

✅ Remove makeup when possible

✅ Remove sunscreen from treatment areas when possible

✅ Avoid heavy lotions, creams, or oils immediately before treatment

If you're unable to remove makeup or skincare products before your appointment, you can still receive treatment. However, for optimal light delivery and the best possible experience, clean, bare skin is preferred.

How Are Sessions Administered?

One of the biggest advantages of our BioMax 900 setup is flexibility.

You may choose to:

✅ Lie comfortably on a massage table

✅ Sit in a chair

✅ Stand during treatment

Our BioMax 900 is mounted on a fully adjustable stand that can be positioned both vertically and horizontally, allowing us to customize the treatment experience based on your comfort level, mobility, and treatment goals.

Because every body is different, we will work with you to find the position that feels best for you.

How Close Do I Need To Be To The BioMax 900?

Full-Body Treatments

✅ Approximately 6-12 inches from the panel

Facial Treatments

✅ Approximately 12-24 inches from the BioMax 900 panel

Omnilux Contour Face Mask

✅ Designed to sit directly against the skin, allowing the red and near-infrared light wavelengths to be delivered exactly where they are intended.

What Does Red Light Therapy Feel Like?

Most people describe it as:

✅ Relaxing

✅ Comfortable

✅ Gentle warmth

✅ Calming

Many clients choose to listen to music, meditate, practice deep breathing, pray, or simply rest during treatment.

How Often Should I Use Red Light Therapy?

Many wellness protocols recommend:

✅ 3-5 sessions per week is commonly recommended for the optimal best results

✅ 2-3 sessions per week provides a strong foundation for consistent wellness support

✅ Consistency is one of the most important factors in achieving long-term results

Consistency is generally more important than session length. Think of Red Light Therapy like exercise. One session is helpful, but regular sessions often produce the best results.
